Hi folks, again a good show was had by all I think at Weston-super-Mare.  It was really good to see so many new faces with their lovely cats and I hope they will now be TICA converts and come to many more shows.  Thanks to our lovely judges 3 of whom had not been to the UK before and I hope Fawlty Towers didn't put them off coming back!  Huge thanks to Ian and Sarah for all the work they put in, it's very daunting doing it for the first time but they will hopefully find it easier next year.  The clerks did a wonderful job and they are vital to the smooth operation of the show so if any of you would like to come to a clerking school please get in touch and we will arrange one for you. The marked catalogue is available through the results page and the scoring will be up soon.

Entry forms are up for the Fire and Brimstone Show at Weston-super-Mare on November 4th.  Please enter early and enter often!!  Early Bird rates close on 1st September and entries close 15th October or when the hall is full

We had a fun day at the Spennymoor Show.  The smallest TICA show in the UK so far but nevertheless a relaxed and enjoyable day was had by all.  Shows in the North will be under threat if the entries continue to be so low, we cannot afford to keep on running at a loss.  Please support the clubs when they take shows to unusual places. We also hosted the first outing in the UK for ICAT cat agility course which was great fun for all who had a go.  Some of course found the tunnel a very good place to have a nap on the way round but the youngsters and especially the Sphynx had a wonderful time getting some exercise and showing off.  We hope to see Lindsey and her team at many shows in the future

A wonderful show was held last weekend at Leatherhead, a HUGE thank you to Poppi & Teresa for once again putting on a lovely show. Many thanks to all of the exhibitors for their patience & good humour throughout! Results have been posted.

  The early bird incentive has ended for the Ponteland show, but there is still plenty of time to enter your cats. A great day has been planned by the Show Committee, and we look forward to seeing you all there to support the CatTica Romana!

   On April 16th, we had a great show at Bletchley Leisure Centre in Milton Keynes. It was a great day!! The atmosphere was so friendly that many of our first time exhibitors were bowled over. Not only were our cats well represented, but the Show Committee outdid itself in making everyone welcome & running the show professionally. Many thanks to Martin, Ros, Teresa, Poppi, Beverly and everyone else who enabled the Milton Keynes Show to be such a success. Results will be posted in due course.
